On the 28th January Worthing Community Chest attended the Better Business Show in the Assembly Rooms. We wanted to tell as many local businesses as possible about the amazing groups that we support.
Our office volunteer, Lisa, was with us on the day. Below is her blog about the event!
The air was buzzing with the many representatives from the local area.
The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Along with the obligatory freebies, for all who wished to take advantage & stock up on their stationery supplies.
Both large and smaller business were very much evident, which was encouraging to see.
This was a productive environment for those wishing to make those all important business connections.
There were guest speakers who held the floor at appointed times and received a very warm response from those who attended.
There was a separate seating area where refreshments were served, and this was a particularly busy networking area.
There was an air of excitement and enthusiasm throughout the venue.
I am hopeful that all who attended found the day to be of great benefit and an enjoyable experience, therefore ensuring their participation at the next scheduled event.
