Worthing Community Chest in the papers! July-August 2019

We’ve been busy this summer getting involved with all our lovely local groups! Read all about our cheque presentation to Worthing Rowing Club at their annual regatta which took place on last Saturday, August 3rd.

We took advantage of the holiday mood and unveiled our fabulous glass window on the pier. Thanks to Worthing Mayor Hazel Thorpe, Town Crier Bob Smytherman, our retired WCC Tustee Tom Wye and current Trustee Ann Stimpson for taking part in our ceremony Read all about it here. Our thanks to the Worthing Herald for their continued support and coverage.

In other news, we were delighted to be part of this years’ Tarring Picnic in the Park who invited us to host one of our recycling fundraisers. We’ve also enjoyed the hospitality of Blueprint 22 and the South Downs Film Makers at our giant cheque presentations.
